Kirk Mangus (1952 - 2013) was a prolific artist equally at home in ceramics, drawing, and painting. Magnus's work has been exhibited and collected internationally for over 35 years. His work is held in numerous collections, including at the Cleveland Museum of Art; Cranbrook Art Museum, Bloomfield Hills, MI; Finnish Craft Museum, Helsinki; and National Museum of Contemporary Art, Seoul, Korea.
Mangus received his BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and his MFA from Washington State University, Pullman. His work was most recently exhibited at James Cohan Gallery, New York City.
